 In 2010, we saw a need for creating a more discrete solar PV product, particularly for use in the housing market. 

Our Founder, Design Engineer Paul Cropper designed, developed and successfully brought to market the Ergosun Solar Roof Tile system for domestic house roofs. After selling this design to a North American company he helped establish distribution on 4 continents.

Paul developed a growing passion for renewable technologies but became aware of many missed opportunities in different industries. Renewable energy technologies were being under-utilised or completely ignored. Even when companies expressed interest in renewable technologies they are nearly always advised by experts whose focus is on a specific technology. 

Companies who wish to be greener often give up or make expensive mistakes that show little benefit to either the environment or the company’s bottom line. 

Renewable Innovations and Technologies Ltd. (RIS) was born to bridge these gaps and engineer an all-encompassing solution to specific problems. 

Our Solutions are not only designed by us, they are also built, we are able to call upon component suppliers from all over the world including many UK manufacturers.
